Mother of God Amiandos by icon-painter Jan Verdonk

The iconographer Jan Verdonk leads a workshop in the traditional technique of Greek-Byzantine Icons.Enrollment is limited to 12 students. This workshop will teach the traditional Greek style egg tempera technique. Beginners and skilled painters can work side by side and Jan will give personal guidance to everyone. The tuition for the workshop is about 1287 US dollar (rate of February 06 2006 for € 1075,-). Materials amount 46 euro. Travel and meals are not included.
