Introduced in June of 1995 to iconography, Jody Cole has discovered a way of marrying her spiritual journey with her artistic talent. Jody has been been painting since 1980, and is a graduate of King's College (Wilkes-Barre, PA) with a BA in Theater and Art. She has spent over 300 hours in formal study with iconographers, Vladislov Andreyev, Peter Pearson and Valentin Streltsov. In recent years she has spent over 450 hours as an a iconography workshop presenter, teaching and writing commissioned icons for churches and individuals as far away as Italy. Jody frequently lectures on the history, symbolism and technique of icon writing.
