Informal Iconography Sessions in San Francisco

The Prophet Elijah in the Desert
The Prophet Elijah in the Desert

If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, come spend a peaceful Sunday afternoon, 1:30 to 4:30 PM, working on your icon in the company of other iconographers at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church. These are informal drop-in sessions, where we all learn from one another. We usually meet twice a month; contact coordinator for schedule. All levels are welcome. Instruction will be provided as needed. We work in egg tempera and gold leaf on gessoed board. Boards and some supplies are available at cost. There is a requested fee of $10 per session to the church.
